Question : where can I buy tape to cover the printhead of hp 45 inkjet cartridges that I want to reink?
I see that the printhead of hp 45 cartridge comes from factor with blue NETO tape covering printhead to protect it before being used. When I reink, I'd like to cover printhead with tape, where can I buy this or other tape that will do the job. I understand it should be nonadhesive (static) tape.

Answer #3 Guess I what refill HP 45s all time and you just don't need to tape over print
head. Use the hypodermic needle supplied with the kit and put the ink in
slowly. Fill pressing print head over over some tissue paper and clean heads
after filling and contacts on back with acetone or just plane finger nail polish
remover. Kazam: you're back in business. if anything tape would just muck up
the minute nozzels. The manufacturers use tape to prevent leakage in shipping (a
lot of vibration)...and just to be sure everything is clean and spiffy. Might
get sued for getting ink on some old lady's fingers!Happy refilling! - answered by Master Quark
Answer #4 You don't need to do this, but if you do then you can just use scotch tape.
Technically it would be better if it was a nonadhesive tape because that would
be more gentle. I would probably avoid doing this unless you had to, because
you really don't want to touch the print head at all unless you have to.The
manufacturers put the tape on there to protect the printhead from being
scratched. It is very delicate and even one scratch can make it so the
cartridge can't communicate with the printer. - answered by Larry B. Scott
