I want to print out some old photo's at work but I have a color laser printer, I understand that it uses toner cartridges instead of ink but what are its archival qualities? does it fade? is it acid free? Its a brother color laser.

If you want anything to be archival you will need to use acid free paper, as it is not so much the ink and remember to seal them from air.

Answer #3
I think the photo it makes is archival. Because the toner contains the powder ink which should not fade. As to fading photo, it is made by old fax machine that use the thermal sensitive paper.
