no because i refill themi used to purchase third party cartridges on ebay, but after i found out that i could reset the chip on epson printers with a chip resetter, i could then refill cartridgesrefilled cartridges are great! i only spend 1 dollar per color refill

Oh yes, everyone is. That's how companies like Dell can afford to "give" you a printer. Of course, you're lucky if the printer will work long enough to use even one cartridge of ink.

Yep. That's why I've started refilling them myself. Basically, you cut the actual cost to about 25%. They refill well about 4x. After that, they get funky and gummy. Ink itself you can pick up for about $10-15. That's the best way to deal with it, I think.

more expensive than just buying a new printer here. SO thats what I do.

It's the biggest ripoff there is. They give you a deal on the printer and then rape you on the ink refills.
