Question : Is it true if you use non HP inkjet cartridge, you'll ruin your printer because ...?
the head of the cartridge (?) needs to be cleaned each time and the non HP cartridge (like office depot brand) doesn't come with cleaned head? That was what I was told.

The printhead contained in an inkjet cartridge is designed to last the life of
the cartridge, so refills aren't a good idea. There is nothing wrong with using
compatible brands, though, most HP cartridges are made by Canon anyway.

a load of rubbish, use compatiables and save money, where do you think that
rumour came from.wouldn't you if you made ink for your printer model and people
started to use cheaper inks.hhhmmmmmm............. I wonder who started this
rumour....
